Standard slinner's are 1/2" long, so you COULD theoretically use them...The 'short' needles are 5/16", so no go on those...

One caveat, however...I have used 'slin pins on NUMEROUS occasions for all sorts of oils, and about one time out of ten, inexplicably, I will have one bleed out of IM and become a SQ bolus...

Which makes you look like there's a mouse just under your skin, round as a ball...Long sleeves on those days for sure...

So you can try it for other oils, but beware of that little hindrance w/syn...It's not harmful when it's going to absorb (although I have had to drain them out before...bleeech), but it could be a cosmetic nightmare w/syntholica...
