agree w Tarzana fully. Right now I´m going like 4-5 weight workouts and 4-5 cardío ( drylands for winter hockey , sprints , jumping , cycling intervals etc.) a week. I fully recommend cardio for the sake of it does for yor lungs and heart. No matter how heavy or hard the set is I do in any given movement , it´s few deep breaths and I´m ready to do another one. Of course the muscles aren´t that quick to recover , but it helps a lot lungs and heart don´t give up first.
I see no problem with two different kind of workouts a day . They go hand in hand. If I was 20 and trying to grow ( really) I might not do this , but for me this works well. One thing; I´d do legs in between chest and delts. delts got a lot of work from chest so a rest day is needed for them. My split is otherwise like yours just legs on wed and delts on thursday....
