I think Dollywood is about 3 hours east by way of driving, but Nashville is kind of a dirty town in a way. To be honest I think Memphis and all of its burbs are a bit cooler and cleaner.
Don't worry about all the propaganda concerning memphis and it's racial tension....I've never seen that there to be honest.
