A budy of mine up here in Michigan was driving home from work, when the hood of his Chevy pickup opened up at about 55 mph. Instead of fixing the latch, he put eye-bolts through the hood & the bumper & used log chain to hold the hood in place!!
This is the same guy that had been working on the carb on an old Pontiac Catalina when his buddies called & wanted him to come to the bar. Instead of taking the time to reinstall the throttle cable, he tied a shoe-lace to the carb & ran it so he could drive to the bar!!!
There's nothing like a redneck for watching your back or for getting moonshine!
