A good post although I disagree w number 1. statement. He has good reasons no doubt , but the older you get the more easily your elbows hurt w triceps training. When done after chest elbows are already warm as well as triceps so no time needed to warming up.( less injuries also). True you lose a lot of strength w back and chest , but afterall arms are a small muscle group. They don´t need 15 + sets to blast. 5-8 will do fine if they are real killers.
I´ve tried both ways in my time and prefer ( foe obvious reasons) doing bis w back and tris w chest. Howerver I will sometimes do arms in one day ....
One thing not to underestimate is you´ll get more important recuperation time coupling bis w back and tris w chest.
I happen also think you get most of the heavy work / strength for your arms from heavy back and chest moves. arm training is the´refore more of isolation work rather than heavy basic moves . IMO . ah btw what´s the time?
