Here is a theory for why it stings... if you inject IM using GH reconstituted with BA water, you are injecting non-saline into a saline part of the body. That causes pain because the sodium rushes across cell walls to get to the no sodium area. I haven't see it, but it should be possible to get injectible BA saline water. That might hurt less.
