take a break , see a doc if that condition lasts for too many weeks. Once back in track try reverse grip benches for lower chest and if that incl still hurts lower the incline a bit . 45 degrees mainly hurts my delts , but lowering it helps.
Donīt do regular benches any more meself . when I did I did reverse grips . once you use to it itīs pain free from delts at least. try and see . Speedy recovery
