wide stance pullthroughs ---- if we're talking about the same thing --- using cables, if you stand facing away from a cable machine where the cable hook is on the bottom and use a single cable grip
- set the weight to something that gives good resistance - since you are going to be using your legs for most of the pulling, you should be able to set it fairly high (e.g. 100 lbs)
- hold with both hands
- bend over facing away from the cable
- walk out a bit with the cable grip running between your legs and you have enough distance from the cable stand that you have to lean away from the cable stand to pull
- then use your hams (like doing DLs) to pull the cable grip away from the cable stand and controlled release back through your legs.
This is an awesome stretch for your back & great ham/glute workout!
