There's no point in wasting it on meals with fewer than 30 grams of carb anyway, so you may want to go ahead and experiment and remove the R-ALA from the fat/pro meals, and see if it may be the culprit.

MMmm.. thanks... You think it could be the r-ALA? Never thought of that. Probably too worried about carbs getting stored as fat so I always pop r-ALA also to lower insulin response further. So r-ALA can cause that?? I'm going to experiment tomorrow moring with some measurements.
