New Orleans is a fuggin dump and now the most prosperous Parish in the state is turning into a spillover of crime from those that left New Orleans and who knows why in the hell this middle class family was struck by this nut!

NO has been a dump for quite some time before the hurricanes. Louisiana doesn't suck but NO has been considered a sin city by many for quite a few years. NO was built on a sinking swamp. The Army Corp of Engineers can only do so much to keep that city from being Amsterdam's worst nightmare. Texas is not a bad state to live in though. Mississippi and Arkansas are not a part of the equation.....they both suck. Something about NO gives me the heeby jeebies to be honest........right around nightfall, seems like clouds move in like fingers interlocking to create a devil's grip over that town from the sky.
On a bluesier side, the music is great. Pinetop Jones is a fantastic blues musician.
