Fitness is a lifestyle, a way of life. It's not something you achieve and then display on the shelf. Why are you worried about what you will do "once" you have achieved your goals? The body becomes the function of whatever it is that you require it to do, be it deadlift 500 lbs, run marathons, crochet, or watch tv. It takes less work to maintain than to build perhaps, but an intent to do whatever it takes will serve you better. I don't do what I do to look a certain way. I look the way I do BECAUSE of WHAT I do. It's the journey, not the destination.
