In total I've been training 3 years. However, when I go serious I go maybe 6-8 months at a time until something extenuating that I'm taken out of the gym. Just as it had happened with my last allergic reaction.
Previous to that injury, I caused tendonitis on my elbow when I did reverse curls too hard when I got overzealous. That took me out for 1 month, and still could hardly grip anything without pain.
When I go to the gym, I go all the time and am very serious. I don't mess around, I don't kid myself with foolish weights. I go to the gym with a plan, direction, with tenacity, perseverance, and motivation.
I'm ashamed to say this, but I'd say that in that three years, I've been out of the gym 30% of the time. However when I go the 70%, I make it count.
