Anavar and Eyes
I'd like to try a short course in Anavar 101 sometime around April or sooner. One question that I have is whether or not anavar could complicate my glaucoma. It is currently controlled by medication (eye drops) but is a chronic condition which is here to stay.
One reason this concerns me is that my opthalmologist, who checks the pressure in my eyes every 3 months, already suspects that I use steroids. I have never used, but he sees my muscles and concludes otherwise. Further, I've already had cataracts removed in both eyes, a problem that can apparently occur from steroids use...or says my doctor.
He also says that I'm at high risk for retinal detachment, and tells me that someday it will happen. (He can possibly do a little laser work in my eyes to prevent this if he catches it in time--another reason he checks me every three months.) Anyway, he knows I lift weights and doesn't see a problem with that, but won't let me participate in sports like diving, or in anything where I could get hit in the head. He has never said, "Don't use steroids." But I'm not inclined to ask him, either. Do any of you experts here know how/if anavar affects the eyes, specifically with regard to glaucoma?
