Pressure
Same problem with the shorts, but mine with the outer sweep cutting in to the knee. Think hvypl8s is right on too, plus everyone else actually (great board). I started, after reading somewhere (no idea), to concentrate pushing off from/through my heels, almost entirely with some movements. Great technique on the sled, squat press, hack, smith squat (a little tough on free squat or front squat unless going light), obviously not on extensions.
Not pulling balls of feet off platform/floor really but focusing on driving heels into surface. Better outer sweep but the teardrop really grew too and can get the contraction all the way through ab/adducter.
Started because of knee problems (seemed to rock onto balls of feet alot) but has paid off, which is good because angling the toes hurts knees too. My .02, FWIW.
