Hello and glad to find some expert help!
Hello members.
I am a 43 year old male in New York, who just two years ago had the world at his feet. Before my health turned poor, I was a top earner in my field and now I have to worry about whether I can afford a minimum order with Selene lol. I am stuck with SSD for my main income now, a far cry from where I was.
I had 1/3 of my right lung removed last August (one of the unfortunate outcomes of working down the block from the World Trade Center on that fateful day 6 years ago). Besides that, I have found out that I have 3 herniated cervical discs, 3 herniated lumbar discs, 2 additional bulging discs, Stenosis (narrowing of the spinal canal), Spondylosis (arthritis) and at least one "degenerating" disc. NOT finished yet lol. I also have been diagnosed with a movement disorder (a few different opinions on exactly WHICH disorder, but the one which seems to fit best is "benign fasciculation syndrome" - basically constant muscle spasms and shaking). Lastly, because of all the medications I have been on, my sex drive is all but gone (my wife is a sexy 27 year old woman who deserves a little better than this and we still want to have children). I know there are plenty of folks that have things worse than me, but this has all happened (or gotten unbearable) in the past 2 years, so this has been a major adjustment for us and it has been a tough adjustment.
Anyway, I am here out of necessity. I have learned to take an active part in my own health care management. I want to get back to health and back to work. I miss working. I am not ready to retire yet. I am hoping to get an education here and to make a few friends and contacts, so that I can make my best efforts at reclaiming my health. I know HGH would probably work wonders for me, but I can't afford it and here in New York, physicians are VERY reluctant to use hormone replacement therapy. Insurance companies are VERY reluctant to pay for HGH as well.
I have had some experience with steroids in my younger years, albeit minimal. If ANYONE here has ANY advice on what would help my situation, I would be very grateful to hear it...
Thank you all and I wish you all good health.
