Some think that the upregulation in AR is a result of less muscle breakdown, because of the protective benefits of LCLT. There is another study (which I cannaot seem to find) that even says LCLT lowered total serum T, which would also result in more AR receptors open. Still, I am inclined to say that supplementation with LCLT couldn't hurt, as it does have many documented benefits.
