all lifts would apply a little stress and pressure to bone structures and legiments ect but the squat is the worst i didnt claim that lifts do not add presure to joints all i said the force applied down the spine is to much.... go look up an advanced picture of the spine and the spinal cord .... EVERYTHING you do ...your movements, disguestive needs, bladder,sight you name it it starts at the brain and travels down the sciatic nerve in the spine.... if you damage a disk and it slips or ruptures or a fragment of bone breaks of its not just another broken bone it could give you serious pernement nerve damager ... from as serious as having no use of the or any limb to no bladder control ..... if you dont believe me go look it up and do a little research on it ...
