Day 17 Back, after a day of much needed rest, I am back in the gym
chins - 12, 6, 5, 4 negatives... can't seem to get the #s to go up, but considering I am heavier, I'm sure that I am getting stronger
1 arm DB row - 75*10, 75*8, 80*6, 80*6... by this time my forearms are so pumped I can barely bend my wrists
medium grip hammer pulldown - 105*12, 115*10
BB row - 115*12, 125*10, 135*8, 135*8 (recall I was doing 115*8 just 13 days ago)
deadlifts - 155*12, 210*8, 215*6, 215*6, could not complete last set my BACK WAS SO TIGHT AND PUMPED THAT I NEARLY SPASMED... 2nd time this has happened since starting the DBOL, I may have to limit my deads to 1-2 sets all out Yates/Mentzer style
lower back machine (to work out the spasm) - 105*12
Now that I've upped the dose to 30mg I definitely am noticing a difference in the amount of lactic acid buildup... I am getting super pumps just warming up my shoulders with 15lb DB pre-workout... Today I was also ALL RED and flushed all over my back and shoulders when I finished my workout.
Side note: I had my blood pressure checked the other day 140 over 72
My top number has always been a little high 120-130, so considering the extra weight and extra dietary sodium and DBOL, I am not surprised
my resting pulse is at 55 which is well within my historical ranges at much lower weights
