I have spondylolisthesis.. Its a back injury I attained at work.. Its a separation in my spine (lower back).. Partially ruptured disc as well but minimal nerve damage..Taken care of through workers comp.. Seen 2 Drs. and surgery not recommended at my age.. So Had no surgery, I am attending physical therapy at this point and we are working the core muscles to strengthen them so they will do most of the work instead of my spine.. Another reason I've thought about anabolics is because I figured they would help strengthen my core muscles quicker.. I don't plan on lifting heavy weights anymore.. When I say heavy for me is 205 x 12 reps on the inclined bench, 225 x 12 on the flat bench.. I've always lifted kinda light meaning lifting whatever I can and get it up correctly and at least 10 reps..I am scared to work my legs through squats with my back being the way it is therefore, my leg workout will be running and playing basketball..
