Whats with the full body hating? Do some reading around and youll find theres an extremely large percentage of people out there who have put on slabs of muscle this way.
And no going to failure? So 5x5, ramping to heaviest deadlifts is not a bloody killer on your back? Then followed by bench press and some squats at the same rep-set range. OK maybe not the best for hypertrophy, but proven to be the best way to get strength.
