The French? Descendents of Froggy the Great I guess. I do think that the treaty of Versailles was a very direct result of WWII.
In WWI, the germans were very merciless in their fighting, but they were quite civilized in most respects as well. Wilhelm wanted to see Germany as a "nation in the sun" and that is what the swastika was supposed to represent (the sun shining upon Germany). Wilhelm even went to China to fight in the Boxer Rebellion to secure something for his country in the way of trade to bring Germany some semblance of wealth.
Sadly, in both world wars, Serbia played a very ignoble role (either as the starters, instigators, or primary logistics and support) in both wars.
When I hijack a thread, I guess I do so in the grandest form I suppose..

ROFL...good one...
I have a german buddy and we got to discussing a thought about the germans and the very profound affect they've had on religio-political thought for many centuries.
