Good thread. Hope it gets out to everyone that rely heavily on shortcuts when it comes to fat loss.
Another note, I just did research for class and came across a pretty interesting research article. The study was done on rats both obese and fit. A restricted diet was introduced to the experimental group and the control ate as they pleased. The experimental group lost weight and experienced a lowering of blood pressure BUT when the experimental group was allowed to eat as they pleased they regained their weight and actually had a higher blood pressure reading than before the experiment. So the yoyo diet that hazcat originally explained is actually harder on the heart then say not making a lifestyle change all in its own. So yes if one is were to diet to lean out, he/she should attempt to maintain those eating habits.
