In all honesty, majority of americans are just misinformed about fitness/dieting. I'm from MI where the obesity rate is one of the highest in the U.S. What is common knowledge to us is unheard of to the mass population.
women skipping meals to lose weight...when in reality they are making their bodes go slow its metabolism to go into survivial mode. meal timing, the macro nutrient proportions in each meal, difference between complex n simple carb, how to read a label and realize exactly what you are putting in your mouth...
someone needs to educate them...and like i said if the gym doesnt provide an R.D it should be up to the trainer to give QUALITY nutritional advice
