injection sites

If one required an intramuscular injection of an oil based substance - 2 a week for, say, oh, I don't know, 10 weeks, where would said individual inject?

Now, in theory, an injection site shouldn't be used to often or problems may occur, such as absesses (forgive me bad spelling).

What exactly would said individual look for (warning signs) that a site is over used, and what sort of "spots cycling" would a person use to avoid any problems from developing.

You won't have a prob. You could inject the left quad (or delt or glute) for the first shot and hit the right side for the second one. That way, you'll only be using a site once a week. Or you could use all the sites, hitting a different one for each shot. You would really spread'em out that way, hitting a site only once every few weeks.

just to verify then, week1 left/right glute, week2 left right delt, week3 left/right quad,
repeat....

That should give it plenty of time to absorb and negate any injecting related problems?

That's how you do it. With a rotation like that, you won't have to worry about over using any sites.

Instead of starting a new topic, i thought I'd just bump this one back up with another question....I found on the web a site that had accurate descriptions of site injection and pics to go along with it. I've lost the link and was wondering if any of you knew of this site or one like it.
