Default Whats best to do first, bulk or cut?

im just wondering whats the best to do?

im 5'5 140lbs lost a bit of weight but still have a small pouch of fat on the stomach and some stubborn fat on the love handles from a bit of binge eating. Ive got out of that nowbut where should i go from now, should i bulk or cut?

Also i don't use AS so whatever i do will just be a change in diet and training.

well id say if your under 12% bf then bulk first, but if not you need to cut. no point in puttin size and some added fat over alot of fat already.

right then i think im about 14% bf so ill cut up a bit first. Whats the best way to do this. Try to loose 1lb a week for four weeks then maintain for fours weeks etc. etc.

Personally I would bulk up first, like HOP says "you can't carve Nasser out of PeeWee Herman,grow big, then chisel".

Given your stats you could put on some weight with the proper diet, i personally would not go on an all out bulk but increase protein to about 300-350 grams a day and make sure you get a good post-workout drink...50grams whey isolate protein/75-150 grams dextrose, if you are really dedicated to putting on some weight do a search here for the 20 rep squat program...this is the most rewarding but hardest program to put on some bulk, an example would be;

squats 1X20 supersetted w/pullovers with light db for 20 reps(focus on breathing deep between each rep)
bench press 2x10
barbell row 2x10
shoulder press 1x10
thats it bro!

Make sure the weight on the squat is something you would normally do for 10-12 reps and without racking the bar take deep breaths allowing you to get another rep until you get to 20 reps, you might have to suck wind for 1min. to get that last rep but i guarantee after 6 weeks of this program you will add some good bulk and strength...
