Injection sites, where and so on

I'm running Decca/Prop. together and have 1.5" sticks. Other than glutes, where else can inject? I remember many yrs ago going into calves, but if I go there or one of the thigh quardrants, shouldn't I be using a smaller, meaning 1" syringe? Seems like 1.5" too long. Is there a link that would give me some info, or can anyone help w/this? Thanks!!

PS-I can get the 1'' needles from an Ag Supply store, has anyone else ever done this? But they do get a bit large diameter-wise. I'd tell the clerk that I needed them for horse injections!

I'm kinda parnoid about the thigh injections w/1.5". Seem like I'm gonna hit some bone. Won't the 1" ers do OK?

you can do just 1inch for quads, but bones are ALOTsmaller than you think.. i know some guys that use 1.5 for delts!

quad injects scare me too.... I can never bring myself to do them there...

Dex,Whys that? I used to do it there and my calves, although one time blood came flying out of my calf like a water fountian. Didn't relly hurt though

don't mess with calves - they hurt like hell.
get yourself some 1.5" pins - there is no rule saying you have to stick it in all the way.

I like shotting quads.. but get the wrong spot and your muscle wil spasm.


draw with a 23ga, shoot with a 25ga.

this might sound crazy....but i go into my thighs wit 25g 5/8 .....it werks fine for me..i just go in all the way and dont feel a thing.....oil disperses quick so i know i got in the muscle and not fat....i woukldnt suggest that for doing more than 2 ml's tho

I always steered clear of the quads, but once you do it the first time, you'll never go back....
