what are the signs of this ??????? can u gte pains in arms and headaches if u have high blood pressure ..............

headache, bleeding nose, bloating etc...

get a BP meter

Agreed on the bp meter. I didn't know I had high bp until I finally went to the doc to ask him why I was so hot and sweaty all the time. Bp was 170/120. Now I'm on meds the rest of my life, more than likely.

I also agree with above on getting a meter or at least get it checked by your doctor.

The public BP meters at stores like Walmart aren't that great but it give you an idea...assuming you can fit your arm in the sleeve.

I'm on week 2 of prop/dbol and my BP is up from 119/78 to 132/85...

Sucks but I could tell it was happening when it started. Headaches and could just feel my pulse in my fingertips and what not.

I agree. If he doesnt have a meter just stop in a drugstore or Walmart. Theyre not the best but better than not checkin.

Id try to get off of em if you possibly can. What medicine did he prescribe you? I went to my old doctor for my usual bloodwork I get every 4-6 months.
I was nervy as hell after all the test, some of which were just to milk my insurance. I was frustrated and pissed by the time they took my bloodpressure. It was 170/110. Ive never had a reading that high and I told him that it was high because I was stressed by what I thought were unnecessary test like an Osteoporosis test!!!WTF? That son of a ***** was $900.00 and like getting an MRI...uncomfortable as hell. He wrote me a script for Coreg...he said either you have high blood pressure or you dont. Bullshit. I took my blood pressure an hour or so later and it was fine and still is. The sides on that medicine are terrible from what I read.(Jaundice, cold hands and feet due to lack of bloodflow and many more.) He was just getting his kick back from the Pharmaceutical company for writing scripts.
Yea, if ya can get off of em than I definately would.

I'm on toprol, its a beta-blocker. Basically, it inhibits the effect of adrenaline (epinephrine) on your beta receptors. Its not liver-toxic and the only side I have really experienced was a more mellow mood. That's not even noticeable now. I actually prefer to stay on, because less frequent temper flares = better relationship with, well, everyone.
