Getting rid of the water

Without taking something to strip the water off me once I am done a cycle what is the (usual) time for the body to do it? I am coming off 14 days prior to an event for two reasons one being water retention. Any Ideas?

takes about 2 weeks to get rid of the water, you can add natural diuretics.

Natural OTC diuretics:
vitamin C, dandelion root, glycerin, and caffeine

OK so not much has changed then good. However I would question the use of glycerin, cyclists and endurance athletes use it to help retain fluid at the cellular level if they feel they are starting an event in the (-) or feel thay may be that way on long events!
