Mixing Oils and Water

This might sound stupid but I havent found an answer yet.

Could someone please shed some light on the following question?

Suppose you transfer an oil based product (deca, sust, etc) to a container that contain a sterile water based solution. Sure that even if I shake the container the oil will not mix with water, but are there any possibility that the compound within the oil base could possibly break down and mix with the water?

oil and water do not mix = obvious

mix oil and water based gear = infection

why would you put oil based into a bottle with water base solution?

LOL...come on Stock....lets not be rude my friend.

I put my oil s in a vial that once had water based gear in it and it made the mixture cloudy is all. Also, no it wont combine.
