Registered Shipping - Faster?

Board sponsor sent out one postcard on Aug 22nd and a second postacard on the 24th. Both were sent registered airmail, and i recieved the one sent out on the 24th on Sept 1st - super fast shipping. Yet the one that was sent out two days earlier is MIA.

Its going on (3) weeks now. Anybody have experience with a postcard taking this long when its sent registered mail?

IM wondering if it has gotten snagged at customs - yet no letter from them.

Registered, certified, FedEx next day.........none of it gets there any faster than customs allows. The express shipments tend to get there quicker, but just because FedEx says it will get there the next day doesn't matter from country to country...only domestic. My understanding is that there are different groups who handle different shipping methods for customs among several countries. One group hands quickest deliveries, another group handles first class type of stuff and another group handles freight classifications. I'm not sure what type of perks are covered for international certified or registered mail though. I would imagine that it is covered only a bit higher in importance than regular first class.
