End of cycle/PCT timing?

Hi all,

From reading the various threads i've gathered the general consensus is to wait 2 weeks after your last injection.
Please correct me if i'm wrong.


I've timed it so that on the last day of my cycle (21st Dec) I go on holiday for two weeks.
On the day i return i plan to commence my PCT.


My questions

• 1. Is this the best solution? (or should i taper the injections for two weeks prior to last cycle day?)

• 2. Are these first two weeks the most vulnerable?

• i.e Is there a greater possibility of a flare up of gyno?

I doubt i will be able to take anything with me while i'm on holiday.

• Should i keep up the calorie intake for these 2 weeks to prevent losing gains too fast?

I'm going snowboarding. I've read that during a cycle collagen production is reduced.

• 3. Should i be careful i.e not do any crazy jumps? Will my bones/joints be able to take the pounding?

Your advice would be greatly appreciated.

Commencement of PCT depends on the compounds used or more so the esters of those compounds. Typically for longer estered steroids it's best to wait 3 weeks before commencement of PCT allowing them time to clear. If your using shorter ester then you can commence PCT earlier. In your case 20-21 days is fine.

You don't need to taper off. Gyno can occur at anytime so keep an eye on it. Starting a cycle and knowing your going to be away 2 weeks is not ideal. Basically your cycle is going to nearly finish as far as the test is concerned that's in your system when you get back to the gym. That first week back you might want to hit yourself with double the shots to get your blood levels back.

As for collagen, Test increases it but estrogen will decrease it. Unless your estrogen is really high this should not be an issue.

Thanks for replying.

I figured that as i finished my full 12 week cycle the day i left for holiday this was ok? I thought the 2 weeks rest and recoup from the gym was a good idea. Give the joints etc a rest from the heavy training. I'll be keeping up a high cardio during the two week break.
You mentioned taking a double shot. Is that a double shot of Test?

This is still a very big learning curve for me. I've already learned a great deal doing my first cycle. PCT is so critical i just want to get it right. Apologies for the newbie questions.

I'm sorry, I misread your intial post. I thought you were only at week 7 of your cycle. In this case then your absolutely good to go with your vacation and forget the double shot of test I mentioned. Just commence your PCT as planned 20 days after last shot.
