Isn't there anything else more important to report about? I'm so sick of AAS getting a bad rap!

I think the reason they released Anderson was because they had mounted enough evidence that they didn't need his testimony. They have posetive tests of AAS for Bonds. That proves that he took steroids, but it still doesn't prove that he knowingly took steroids which is his testimony they are claiming perjury on. Witnesses that they could call on to prove Bonds' perjury other than his trainer, Anderson, are Gary Sheffield (workout partner of Bonds who admittedly took the stuff Bonds took), Victor Conte (owner of Balco who supplied stuff to Anderson who supplied to Bonds) and Bonds' g/f from that time. Perjury is a very hard case to prove though. I'm not sure if they'll convict him of it (depending on witness and their credibility), but they'll definately prove that he did use steroids (knowingly or unknowingly) and people will know the record is tainted, etc.

I'm sure he's already getting the financial compensation. About the "good guy" thing, Anderson was a childhood friend of Bonds so that may be why he's not ratting him out as well.

I was talking to some friends about this today and apparently the talk is that Anderson is going to now testify. I have no real idea to the credibiltiy of this but I hope it's not true.

I think it's a bit ironic that performance enhancing compounds are being frowned upon.
