Benzyl Alcohol / Benzoate Exp date & shelf life

Hello every one.

First real post post in here - Been lurking a ton thats for sure!...........Any way, I was wondering, since I have this offly large vial 100ml of each. And since I don't do any steroid conversions ( hehe ) I probably wont be able to use up all this stuff with in the allocated 10 months before it expires.

Its dated at sep/2008 as expiry date................I wasn't aware this stuff expires, I thought they purge all their stuff with inert gas making this stuff viable for almost ever!?

Can some one confirm if this is accurate and or what I can do about this issue, Is it safe to use after 1 year and past its expiration date. Will it still do its job?
Any one know its actual shelf life - etc etc.

If it's kept away from light and in a cool area you should safely see 2 years+ out of it.
