Hey man, this may be a dumb question, but is the air bubble really neccesary to have in the syringe??? I read your explanation, but can this not be dangerous???? What if you did happen to inject the entire syringe into a vein by accident or something??? I am pretty new.

This is why you aspirate with every injection.

Keep it clean...

i usually use two needles per injection, one to draw the liquid and one to inject myself.

just seems to pierce the skin easier that way.

You know I just read this tonight and was wondering the same thing. It's a good post but the needle switch wasn't on there. The air bubble won't hurt you at all. It takes about over 20 cc's of air injected straight into a vein to cause an air embolism so one little bubble won't hurt you. It's not necessary to use a bubble but it will get that last little bit of your precious oil into you instead of sitting in a needle you toss away.
