Hey everyone.
So I finally made the move to register, mainly because there is so much information on the boards, I wanted to get some opinions from you guys as well, as sometimes it can be confusing. Anyway I want to start my first cycle and I'd love to hear your thoughts, what you recommend, etc. Here are some stats: Age: 21 years old Height: 5'7" Weight: 142 Body Fat %: 11% Here's my deal: I was heavily involved with sports up until I was 19. I've been weight-training for 6 years now. I started with the regimen of a football player (15-17), realized how great of a hurdler I was, and completely focused on running from 17-19, still lifting but really training my legs/core. After a stint with a knee injury, I stopped hurdling. I've been lifting (19-21) on a steady basis for the past two years and have gained only 7 lbs. This takes into account as well that I have not ran more than 20 feet at one time in the past 1.5 years. I just have an EXTREMELY high metabolism. I stopped doing cardio when I realized I was done with my running career and wanted to gain some nice mass. All my mass is in my legs, and I have small arms to this day, regardless of the workouts I've been doing. I do not overtrain my legs compared to my upper body, and haven't been doing that for two years now. I eat like someone twice my size. I live with 3 other guys who all have been consistantly lifting together for the past year or so. They range from 170-200 lbs, and I consume more than they do. (These guys were also my weight a few years ago, and they continued to grow when I stopped.) I've also been supplementing with a multi-vitamin and protein for about a year and a half. I'm convinced my genetics just do not want me to grow, at least not anywhere in my upper body. My legs are bigger and stronger than all three of them, and I have been training my entire body but just can't catch up. What do you recommend? I was looking through AS and will most likely be ordering from there. Some may say I am too young, but at 21 and training and eating like I have been for the past two years, I think this is the best route for me to go now. Well for the past year I've been averaging 4500 calories a day, protein shake in the morning and after my workout, and like I said, I've gained 7lbs. I workout 4 days a week as well. I could wait a few more years, but my hardwork is at it's peak and I'm not getting any bigger, or much stronger. Thanks for the advice.
Bench has gone up only 5lbs in the past 6 months from 185 to 190, and I can squat 325 5 times cleanly. |

What is your eating schedule? When I was natural, I would wake up at night and eat and that got me some great results. Try taking a Casein whey product at night so you don't run out of protein while you sleep.

Hash's advice is good but look if your going to do a cycle then stick to test and test only. Test E or C will be fine and I can tell you honestly I have seen guys your age do 350mgs/week on test and blow up so that would be my advice.
Only possible addition would be to kick start with some d-bol or preferably t-bol for first 4-6 weeks. Run your test for 10-12 weeks total. Read up on PCT but really at that level of test start 2 weeks after last injection and run Nolva for 3 weeks and you should be fine. Get an AI for on cycle and take .25mgs/EOD to start and monitor any sides. |

Thanks guys.
I'm gonna shop around for a few heavy duty weight gain supplement shakes to add to my diet and I'll switch up the eating schedule, try it out at night and I'm gonna check out some other types of protein supplements. I'll give this a go for a few months and see if that puts me anywhere else! |

When people tell me they can't grow, its normally their diet and how they are eating.
Look hard at your diet, focus on that. You should be able to consistantly gain 6-9 pounds a year naturally. Most people screw up with their diet.
