thanks for all the advice ... I couldn't log in for a couple of days - sorry about that, all ...

i try to maintain a good diet but it can be a bit tough in china. an average day is a protein shake, cheerios or corn flakes, and 3 egg whites for meal #1, noodles or a sandwhich for meal #2, and lots of chicken and veggie kebobs for meals #3 and #4 (plain chicken and various chinese veggies - i get them from a street vendor and there's very little oil in the veggies, and none on the chicken), and finally another protein shake at night before bed. food is cheap in china and i tend to eat a lot, but honestly greasy chinese food gets thrown into the mix about every other day.

all of the posts here have been great ... i'm reading and researching as much as i can, and the info/support here is really great.
