I ran my first cycle at 25, and in retrospect I think that may have even been slightly young to do so. Is 245 a one rep max on bench for you? Even if it is, that's fairly impressive at 165lbs. It sounds like you still have plenty of natural potential to tap into. Heed the advice of the other members, eat like a horse and see where that takes you first. Good luck!

no 245 is my 3 reps for 5 sets, Yea i know everyone here is right, I actually just got back from the store spent 300 dollars on food i know what i need to do now, not that i didnt before but i just thought a cycle would be the quick fix around eating. My next questions is... how important do you guys think it is to have a good leg work out, i know that it raises natural test levels, does anyone else here hate working lower body as much as i do?? i think it could be another reason for my hault in growth.

I used to hate it but started hitting squats this year, and I'd say my bench was pretty stagnant, but since I started legs and not even focusing on bench it's gone up 40lbs - Just this year! Once you do legs....everything will suddenly get stronger, and you'll start putting on crazy weight, but you've got to commit to filling up the tank each day. Never let yourself get hungry and you will start putting on weight.

sound advice my man...use to hate working the legs but one has to realise that one needs to progess stedily and not rush things. i feel that to many people neglect the squat and deadlift compunds not realising the important role they play in creating a highly anabolic environment within your body...

Para and andy are dead on! Its like this... before i decided to do AAS I nailed my diet down and was eating 6-7 quality meals a day! Every 2.5-3 hours. Tough to keep consistent and hard on the pocketbook yes. But consider this - once I started my cycle, I have to stuff my face almost every 1.5 - 2 hours a day or more often, or I get hungry!! You have to eat like a horse when on AAS or you are just wasting your time and WILL NOT GROW. They are not magic beans, they alow your body to utilize your fuel more effectively. Without enough quality fuel, your engine will sputter.... At your age, nail your diet, eat huge and you will grow - guaranteed!

Well said. If you choose crap for food you might grow some....but the gains will be all water, and you'll lose it as soon as the cycle ends.
