Safe-mail accounts aren't being shutdown like the hushmail accounts. Instead, LE has a universal key to their email system (meaning they can look into and monitor any account they want).

I was reading a while back in muscular development that the feds nailed a dude using hushmail, so they might be trying to clean house to keep the us government off their ass
