One drop makes a big difference

Thats right I now leave a small amount of air in there t the top closest to the plunger I would say .1-.2 of a cc that is all you need.

NEVER inject ANY amount of air. Leaving some air means to live some air in the syringe, not in the needle.. to be able to inject ALL the gear in your muscle, without leaving any of it in the needle.
Watch out with this guys. Air in the muscles will cause only pain, and your organism will struggle to remove it from there, causing even more pain!

I never leave any air. I do see posts about leaving a slight about to push the last of the steroid out. If you're that poor then don't take steroids. The drop running down the needle for lubrication is not needed. You have plenty of moisture on and in your skin to lubricate. If you want to put a little air bubble in the syringe and make certain it's up by the plunger it's not going to cause harm. It will cause a little pain when you are pushing the plunger in hard. Your body will absorb the air without any problems. Why don't you set your old needles in a vial and let them drain a drop or two into the vial. After a hundred needles or so you may have enough for an injection...LOL. We're just splitting hairs with this cycle. For those that do and want to keep doing it then find. If you are against it then don't do it. There's no study we can pull out to say one way is better than another. I will say medical literature says nothing about lubricating the needle and nothing about leaving air in the syringe. To the contrary they recommend turning the syring with the needle straight up and flicking the side of the syringe to all bubbles up to the needle then squirting out a small amount of the product to get the air out.
