Default Off days and eating

Should I consume the same amount of calories/carbs/protien on my off days? IF not, cut by how much?

I typically do not..................I know what my caloric requirements are for both days and I adjust accordingly.

I keep it the same. Alot easier, and like they say you grow while you rest. Of course I think it is more important to eat more/better on traing days.

I would say from a technical standpoint you probably do need a little less calories on a day you don't work out, but I still keep it the same. First off, when it comes to weight training most of the extra caloric expenditure for a lifter is from an increased amount of lean tissue and from effects on metabolism (lifting elevates it for 48 hours or more, most cardio only elevates it for a couple hours) you probably only expend and extra 100-300 calories when you lift.

I think knowing how many calories you need in general to meet your goals, and not eating so much that you put on excessive fat or so little you don't gain or lose too much muscle (if your cutting) is much more important.
