Just a quick note that you can pick up a pile of red rubber stoppers from getpinz and replace your chewed up stoppers. Just pour some meythl alcohol over them then place them in the oven at 200 degrees to dry them off while your taking off the aluminum capping ring that's holding your chewed up stopper on. Discard the old capping parts and stretch your new red rubber stopper over the open end of the vial. Voila...good as new.

I like to pre-load an entire vial's worth at a time. I use an 18ga needle, but it only pokes the stopper once...

if you go in with the long end of the point and at a angle it's not a problem.. Don't just go in straight..

I used an 18 0r 19 gauge pin that came on the Organon Sostenon Pre-Loads. It was like getting hit with a nail gun!

I remember someone asking me if you change out the stopper won't that contaminate the oil in the bottle while it's open? I asked him...don't you shoot room air into the bottle prior to drawing out your dosage? I just use a 20 ga. and haven't torn up a 100 cc bottle stopper yet. Just keep using a different spot.

I actually had that happen. lucky for my ass the bit of stopper that was in the syringe clogged the smaller gauge needle while i was injecting. that would be hard to explain why you have a piece of rubber inches in your skin
