Androgel- How much to apply

My DR. prescribed 5 G packets once a day to bring T level up from 240.

Is this enough to get any gains strength or size?

How much is equivalent to Test that is injected thru IM?

Actually this is how I started on aas. I was perscribed the same for the same reason. Took almost a year for me to notice some change in my shape. This andro is not enough to gain strength or size. There is only 1% test in this gel and you lose 75% of it through the first pass of the liver. Again I did see some change after a year. Decided this was great and wanted to speed it up.

Why not read up about various Test protocols for HRT and go back to your doctor with more knowledge. Ask him to show you how to inject the Test rather than go the Androgel route. You will be getting a more accurate dosage which you could supplement if you wish. After all, they do the same thing with diabetics, why not low Test patients.

No it is not....

I agree you should ask your doc about IM Test from what I've read you'll have more stable levels if you go the IM route.With androgel your test levels are going to go up and down like a roller coaster.


Only plus I've read about Adrogel is that it converts to DHT more then the IM test. So your sex drive could be better on the Andro.
But on the other hand more DHT could be hard on the prostate and hair loss...

My guess would be that Andogel would probably aromatise more than the long esters in test E or C also.

I could be wrong tho... but being that it would be absorbed faster like suspension test and info says suspension aromatises more then test with a ester attached. I'm guessing here the more knowledgeable peeps can chime in anytime...

Im on HRT as well. AGree with Milo........might as well talk to the doctor about injections and see what he says. Your numbers suck. Mine was 187 when they issued the prescription. I felt like an old man. My body was vanishing. Tired. No sex drive..........stay on top of this and you won't look back...
