Gear big name pro's use

Can someone toss me a link to a site that, to some extent, reveals what the pro's used? Also perhaps a site that show pics of people who favor different gear?

you'll never know for sure..only the user does...

some claim low doses...i doubt it....

grams of test......i know one guy who just got his ifbb card...and i know he was on 5 grams of test a week!! plus extras...

no such site...but it really doesn't matter what they use...a lot of people use the same and still look like shit - so it's up to your training/diet and will to be the best you can, not up to the "pro cycle"

I am being misunderstood. I am simply curious as to what, for example, Arnold used. Only looking more or less for biographical info, not to base my cycle on copying them. Believe me X, I am 110% behind you on the training and diet. I threw everything I knew out the door and now use your diets as the blueprints to my gains, which I am very grateful for.

I think Arnold used dbol and primo...no one will ever know at what doses, but I think about 100-200mg dbol per day and probably 1g primo per week. AS was cheap for him back then and Wider provided the best.

I would say they are somewhat just like us... try all kinds of brands of gear....

Arnold claims that hed just go to his doctor and tell him he wanted to get bigger... he says the doc would perscribe him some dbol and primo and that was that.... he also is full of shit and says that he would take low low doses of primo at like 200mg per week and some low dose of dbol around 10mg... wudeva... most of us will never know for sure.

now im not into beastiality... but that was one FINE looking animal

I began BodyBuilding back in the early '70's, discovered "Juice" 5 years into serious training, did one baby cycle before my first show,(gained 10 lbs) 5 years later did my next cycle (gained 38 lbs in 8 weeks)all on very low doses.

The guy that hooked me up was a well known State & Regional competitor and winner of numerous shows, his mentors were higher level guys that were National and some Pro competitors. I can tell you, what was considerd "high" dosages at that time were ridiculous compared to what I read on this and other boards by Newbies asking "What do you think of my 1st cycle". My jaw always drops, "a gram of this, a gram of that, 8 D-bols/day, 5 A-bombs, etc".

What Arnold did, I always heard "Primo", and some kinda Orals ('proly d-bol). All else is speculation, and really it's his bizness not mine, besides Arnold had "Freaked" genetics. How many thousands of Arnold "Wanna B's" have there been, now it's Ronnie "Wanna Be's", guys that think it's all in a bottle. "In 1 cycle I'll be as big as whoever the biggest guy in the Gym", and if your that big guy and you read this you know exactly what I mean, they pick your brain or try to, if they are really bold they'll just come out and tell you, "I'm gonna do this & that, then some of this, Oh and some more of that". If you're like me you just look at them like "are you crazy".

20 years ago I remember Larry Scott writing a letter to Joe Weider (published in Muscle & Fitness) telling him he was getting back in shape again (Larry Scott was never really out of shape, he was in his 40's if I'm not mistaken), he said "I just started my 5mg of D-bol a day", If you know anything about BB, you know Larry Scott was a real straight shooter. I know no one wants to believe it, but for the most part those early generations used low to moderate dosages. See, for alot of them their Doctors wrote a 'Script for them or gave them the Deca shot right in the office, so they used the "Clinical Dosages" the Docs Suggested, my first cycle was prescribed by a Doc, he gave me the 100mg Deca shot in the office ($15)and I picked up the bottle of D-bol at Kmart for $12 (I know kinda sounds wacky).

What my Mentor did and tried to get me to do, were very, very low doses compared to what I read of guys using. But what you do is your bizness.

I'm not saying that there weren't some that took high doses, but in the BodyBuilding sub culture the doses recommended by succesful bobdybuilders to other trainers were not high doses.

Some very insightful info, but again, I'm not tring to duplicate a pro's cycle because I liked the way he looked, I was just curious as to what most pro's used/prefered.
