P-Seven's active ingredient

I have used P7 before, and liked it. I know the active ingredient is used in many new OTC diet pills. The question is, can I take the pills and achieve the same overall results? I understand it will not take action as quickly, but I simply cannot afford the P7 at this time. The pill contains 50mg of 7-oxo-dhea.

I don't think you could...I tried and it never was synergetic enough to work...just gave me a stomach ache and headache

not absorbed very well in the gut, hence the transdermal preparation.

It's not just 7-oxo that makes P7 work, pregnenolone plays a big part in it. The delivery solution to get it to your blood rather than you having to swollow it and have it broken down by your stomach where you lose 60-70% of the drug is going to yeild much better results.

there are several reasons that oral 7-oxo-dhea can never compete with P7. Most of which were elucidated above. there some reasons specific to the delivery itself that also have great impact.

if you want to get similar blood levels of 7-oxo as 1 pump, it is a good guestimate that 2 caps will be required. (orally it is way more expensive for this reason alone) and as noted still less effective
