I got 693 emails on my aol email that I can't erase. They are all from bounce@sendmai... I sent aol an email and they haven't got back with me. I'm no computer whiz, but I've never had this prob before. Thats some serious spam huh, 693 emails.WTF Any help would be appreciated.

Quite a cunundrum. I knew I could use that word at some point. LOL seriously though I've never had that problem. Don't bother with the email go to online help and talk to someone live. They should be able to clear the email from their end.

Traditional spam blockers won't work. AOL is completely different from traditional internet access. In the techie world it is refered to as AOHell. I wouldn't waste time with online help either. It's a hell of a lot less frustrating to talk to a live human being. Do yourself a huge favor and dump AOL. You will find you suddenly have fewer problems with your computer.

Have to agree with Twistd. AOL bites. Tons of spam and lots of shut downs and freeze ups for me. I recently switched and I'm much happier. As for the techs, yes they're usually morons. I knew more then them most of the time.

How does that work with setting up your own internet server in your house? I'd love to have my own server someday, but the cost would be hell unless I was able to hook others up to pick up the cost.
