as far as N Korea and having big allies... i think its more of a matter that we KNOW they have nuclear capabilities, and were not sure how crazy those fuckers are... is it really just a bluff to give them more room at the negotiating tables??? Or do they truly intend to produce and use atomic weapons? Just recently we have found that N Korea has begun reprocessing its spent fuel rods at its nuclear facilities in Yongbyon.... this is a crucial step in making weapons. Reprocessing all of their fuel rods will yield enough plutonium to create several nuclear warheads... and thats on top of the one or two nuclear warheads we suspect they already have. Not to mention that the North Koreans were quoted at recent talks, saying ""Our nation faces a stark situation as the black clouds of a nuclear war are coming toward the Korean Peninsula minute by minute,"... that sounds kinda freaky to me. That situation makes me more and more uncomfortable as the days go by... and if it turns out that they wont fold... i fully expect there to be some amount of force in disarming them.

do you think N Korea is just bluffing to obtain aid to keep their economy afloat?.... do you think that force will be needed to resolve the situation?.... do you think/fear the situation is going to escalate to a higher degree?.... just your opinions on all that is going on between N Korea, S Korea, and the US.

It would be like sitting on the river bank and turning around to pee right behind you, then sit back down waiting for the pee to run down hill and soak you good. Sending a warhead to Seoul might obliterate Seoul in a couple of shakes, but in a couple of days it would be then end of N. Korea with the fallout.

China is the nervous country with N. Korea having nukes. N. Korea can make a missile to deliver some nukes to Beijing, but it would be incredibily impressive for them to send one to the US West Coast. Now, I do feel that Un Hung Guy or whatever his North Korean freakiness' name is, is not all too stable, but surely he isn't incredibly stupid either. At first they wanted talks with the US only. They didn't want to do talks with the US and China together because the Clinton administration would satisfy them with AID money so they didn't have to fool with the headache of telling them not to make WMD's.

I am having trouble as who you are refering to in your last sentence as "them". Is them referring to N.Korea or "them" referring to China?

If "them" is referring to China financial AID is needed for China since their banking system is a mess and is currently being restructured at the moment by banking/financial 'geniuses' from all over the world. Thus China taking AID....anothing insite to China is that their banks have enough US currency to buy out their own Yen, but that would end up putting the financial currency markets around the world into a tial spin. Most countries have enough US currency to buy most enough all their currency out.


Now, if the US gave N.Korea AID, why would they make WMD again if we were giving them AID??? They are probably going to sell them to someone, or else someone has already bought them...
