..but Circuit City has a RIOsport 64mb player for
$99.00usd currently. I had this model before and it was pretty good 64mb is more than enough memory for 2+hrs music. Comes with decents software for loadng and unloading/sharing MP3s & Wavs.
Might wanna look into Mini-disk Players too.
Hrs of music on floppy mini's with the ability to carry multiple playlists worth to the gym etc.

When in doubt...Knock 'em out.

i use a sony minidisc mz-n505 player. it holds 2-6hours of music on each disc and you can record mp3s, internet radio , whatever format on it. i like it cause i don't have to keep erasing stuff i put on discs and cause it holds like 2 hours of *stereo* quality music.
With regular MP3 players you pay for the 64mB which doesn't hold a lot and you have to repeatadly record over.
mine cost $115.
the only downside is that the software interface sony has kind of sucks until you learn to use it.
But its good overall value and really versatile. plus it doesn't look as girly as most of the other players i've seen.

Its the size of a discman, but has all the bells and whistles of the soundcard; 3D Audio, sound environments, recording controls, setting up multiple playlists for whatever your workout mood is that particular day, equalizer, reverb, chorus, flange effects, etc... They may still have the 6Gb models left which should be less than 200.00 but the 20 Gb is awesome and around 250.00+ depending on the deal, rebates, etc.... The 6 Gb alone will hold well over 10 hours to tunes and also audio books.
