Hiccups are the worst...i try holding my breath a few times....sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt.
Down a beer as well, dont know if it helps but catchin a buzz is cool anyway.

Hiccups are often caused by a hair leaning against your eardrum.Stick your fingers in your ears and wiggle them around.This almost always works.Now you know.
