I liked the movie quite well, but there was only one fault I saw in it from a technical perspective that sort of pissed me off a little. Cruise takes a fire axe and knocks out power to the building by cutting off a large electrical conduit pipe; rarely does electrical conduit pipes contain phone lines which have their own power source. Once power went out to the building so did the phone line. You can blow out an entire electrical grid, but if the phone company still has power, so does a non-cordless telephone.

Besides the movie just being fiction anyway, that scene really destroyed the entire fictional scene and moved it into Science Fiction. Helluva good movie, but that one scene sort of blew it from being a phenomenal movie to just a good movie.
