I just put my oldest son on an airplane for Orlando. In two weeks I'm getting on a plane for Okinawa, Japan. Probably gonna be a while before I get to put him in a headlock and give him a noogie again. I don't like this.

He knows I'll miss him. I'll be in Japan for three years though . He'll be able to be there for the middle year. It's just rough because I haven't been away from him for more than a few weeks at a time. Now it's gonna be months before I see him again. That which does not kill you makes you stronger, I understand. I just don't like the idea of going that long without my little dude. Thanks for the words.

Bro, if you don't have to go then don't. There's some things that are worth more than money. Being there for the first too, first step, first word or whatever just can't be duplicated on video. Now if you have to go to feed your family, that's different. That's a good reason. Weigh it.
